Scholarship Info

Uplands School is an IB World School, a centre for the University of Cambridge
International Examinations Programme, and also an EDEXCEL Approved centre. Our  students consistently achieve examination results that are above the global average,  and thus have successfully gained admission into some of the most prestigious universities worldwide, including Oxford and Cambridge Universities in the UK. Each year, Uplands holds Scholarship Examinations for admission into the IB Diploma Programme. The 2013 Scholarship Examinations for the January 2014 intake will be held on 9 December 2013 while the Scholarship Examinations for the August 2014 intake will be held in late April or early May 2014.

Criteria

• Malaysian citizen
• 17-18 year old
• Possess at least 5 credits in IGCSE/O Levels/SPM or other equivalent qualifications

Preferred Discipline

• Pre-university study under the International Baccalaureate Diploma

Amount

• Scholarship value will vary between 25% and 50% of basic school fees; however 100% and 75% scholarships may be available for outstanding candidates
