MyBrainSc scholarship is a programme dedicated to promote Malaysian citizens who are interested in pursuing a Bachelor or Post-graduate Degree full-time in the field of natural sciences. Applicants have the opportunity to study locally and abroad.
Qualified candidates will be bonded and the contract period is dependent on the duration of study funded by the Ministry.

Criteria

Bachelor Applicant;

1. The candidate is a citizen of Malaysia;
2. Not more than 21 years of age on the date of application;
3. The candidate has obtained at least 3.6 CGPA in his/her Foundation in Science/Matriculation/STPM/Diploma;
4. Scored 1800/2400 in all SAT tests, 40/45 in IB and 4A in A-levels.

Master Applicants;

1. The candidate is a citizen of Malaysia;
2. Not more than 28 years of age on the date of application;
3. The candidate has achieved excellent results in his/her Bachelor's degree in pure science that is at least a CGPA of 3.65 and above or First Class;
4. The candidate is not bonded by any sponsors from a previous degree or the sponsors are willing to break the contractual bond if this scholarship is offerred;
5. Candidates who are currently serving in any public or private sector must be willing to resign with the offer of this scholarship;
6. Mode of study must be in research mode and full-time; and
7. Candidates who are currently pursuing a Master Degree or have obtained a place in the field of natural sciences either locally or other universities through the application portal.

Ph.D. Applicants;

1. The candidate is a citizen of Malaysia;
2. Not more than 35 years of age on the date of application;
3. The candidate has achieved excellent results in his/her Bachelor's degree in pure science that is at least a CGPA of 3.65 and above or First Class;
4. The candidate is not bonded by any sponsors from a previous degree or the sponsors are willing to break the contractual bond if this scholarship is offerred;
5. Candidates who are currently serving in any public or private sector must be willing to resign with the offer of this scholarship;
6. Candidates who are pursuing a fully research graduate degree will be given priority;
7. Candidates who are currently pursuing a Ph.D or have obtained a place in the field of natural sciences either locally or other universities through the application portal.

University of Sheffield Undergraduate Scholarships are awarded to international students who wish to undertake undergraduate program at the university.

Criteria

a) Take IELTS examination.
b) Have one of these academic qualifications : A Levels, International Baccalaureate or Other Qualifications.
c) Applicants must be self-funded and classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes.
d) Part-time students will receive the full value of a one year of scholarship split pro rata over the duration of an equivalent single full-time academic year.
e) The scholarships will be awarded automatically – no application is required in the first or any subsequent years.
f)The scholarships will be awarded unconditionally in the first year of studies. Receipt of the award in subsequent years of study is subject to the achievement of a 60% overall average mark in the previous academic year.

Amount

a) The scholarship is worth 50% of the Undergraduate annual tuition fee. This is guaranteed in the first year of study and is available in each subsequent year.
