KEMASKINI! PERMOHONAN BIASISWA YAYASAN KHAZANAH WATAN SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME 2024

The Khazanah Global Scholarship is a prestigious award that offers opportunities for bright and high-achieving Malaysians to pursue Undergraduate and Postgraduate studies at selected leading universities around the world.

Criteria

Applicant must meet all the below requirements GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Possess strong leadership skills and active participation in extra-curricular, social or voluntary activities.
  2. Applicants must have a consistent and outstanding academic achievement record as follows.

For Foundation Studies:

  1. Obtained a minimum of 8As (combination of A+ and A) in the recent SPM examination or at least 8As in the recent IGCSE.
  2. Obtained A or A+ in the following core subjects: Bahasa Melayu, English, History and Mathematics.
  3. Not exceeding 18 years of age at the enrolment date for the foundation studies.
  4.  Obtained admission to pursue studies or currently in the first semester of a Foundation Programme at the Yayasan Khazanah’s approved universities in Malaysia.

 For Undergraduate (Bachelor’s Degree):

  1. Obtained admission to pursue studies (conditional offer can be considered) or currently in the first year of a Bachelor’s Degree programme at any of the Yayasan Khazanah’s approved list of universities.
  2. Obtained a minimum of:
    • 3As for STPM; or
    • “Jayyid Jidan” for STAM; or
    • 3As for GCE A-Level Programme; or
    • CGPA 3.50 / 4.00 for Pre-university or Diploma or Foundation or Matriculation Programme; or
    • 35 points for International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme;
    • AND a minimum of 3.500 / 4.00 in semester exam for those who are currently in the first year of a Bachelor’s Degree Programme at any of our approved list of universities.
  3. Not exceeding 21 years of age as at the enrolment date for the Bachelor’s Degree Programme.

Preferred Discipline

Please refer to the list of courses sponsored on the Yayasan Khazanah website. However, preference is given for those applying for the following courses:

  • Accounting
  • Economics
  • Finance and Investments
  • Public Policy and Political Science

Amount Info

Full scholarships are offered which include full academic fees, living expenses, accommodation as well as development and training support.

MBAM Scholarship Awards

The Master Builders Association Malaysia (MBAM) Education Fund Scholarship Awards 2024. Since its inception, it has helped outstanding Malaysian students to fulfil their dreams and aspiration. Their success in achieving their aspiration have helped to improve their life and made a positive impact on their families and the communities.

Courses of Study

  • Recognised Local university (Public & Private) in construction related courses for example civil engineering, mechanical & electrical engineering, quantity surveying, building surveying, construction management.
  • Full time study

Application Period

  • Application will close at 1730 hours on 30 June 2024.

Eligibility & Requirements

  1. Malaysian citizen below 35 years of age as of 1 January of intake for year of intake for first level of tertiary education leading to a bachelor degree or professional qualification in local/private university.
  2. An excellent academic track record and active in sport and extracurricular activities.
  3. A strong ability to communicate your thoughts.
  4. Must show proof of financial need.
  5. Undergo internship for the entire duration of industrial training with MBAM members.
  6. Must not be bonded to or in receipt of any financial assistance or rewards from other educational institutions or organization or foundations.
  7. Already accepted or Is expecting to receive an offer from university to pursue construction related courses. Current university students are also eligible to apply provided the courses pursued are related to construction.
  8. Applicant must have secured a letter of offer from the university.
  9. Applicant must submit a personal statement that includes the reasons of your application, your personal aspirations, career and ambition. It must not be more than two (2) A4 size page.
  10. All requisite documents mentioned in the application form must be certified prior to submission or else it will be deemed to be incomplete and may not be considered.
  11. The scholarships is up to RM10,000.00 annually and Is without bond.
  12. All applications and required documents are to be emailed to ed@mbam.org.my and thereafter send all these documents by post to the address In the application form.
  13. Application by post must reach MBAM office on or before 30 June 2024 by 1730 hours.
  14. Late application will not be considered.

  1. Complete the application form and submit it with the required documents and your personal statement via email to ed@mbam.org.my.
  2. You must also post the application form with all the requisite documents submitted and must reach MBAM on or before 30 June 2024 at 1730 hours.
  3. Only shortlisted applicants will be notified.
  4. Late application will not be considered.

The Khazanah-Cambridge Scholarship provides financial sponsorship to Malaysians who plan to study for an undergraduate and postgraduate degree at the University of Cambridge.
The Khazanah-Cambridge Scholarship is a leadership development programme that is aimed at building Malaysia's future leadership talent. Recipients of this scholarship are expected to not only demonstrate academic excellence but also develop their leadership skills through training and participation in a number of activities.
