PUTRAJAYA: The results for the 2018 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination will be released on March 14.
The Education Ministry, in a statement today, said students can obtain their results from their respective schools after 10am, while private candidates will receive theirs through post or by contacting their respective state education departments where they had registered.
Candidates can also check their results via short messaging system (SMS) by typing mySMS and sending it to 15888.
The service will be available from 10am on March 14 to 6pm on March 20.
Students can also check via the Examination Board website at sppat.moe.gov.my/semakan.
Last year, a total of 421,706 candidates registered to sit for the SPM at 3,308 examination centres nationwide.
Out of the total candidates, 362,754 were from government schools, government-aided schools and government-aided religious schools.
A total of 9,427 candidates were from schools under government agencies; 2,059 from Sekolah Agama Rakyat, 8,160 from state religious secondary schools; 14,001 candidates from private schools registered with the ministry; and 25,305 private candidates.
