What is SEAIT?
SEAIT is an Education Assistance Programme which provides on-the-job and industry training opportunities to SPM school leavers to further their studies on a part-time basis at private institutions of higher learning at the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI Diploma in Accounting) level. The programme provides educational assistance and industry exposure to students from low-income family backgrounds with average academic qualifications.
The programme will also assist in developing and encouraging SPM leavers to become capable, skilled workers in fulfilling the human capital needs of Sime Darby, particularly in the accounting field.

Eligibility & Criteria
  • Malaysian
  • Aged between 17 to 25 years old
  • Total household income of less than RM2,500 a month
  • The applicant must reside within the Klang Valley area (Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, Klang, Subang Jaya, Ampang, Kajang, Putrajaya, Puchong, Selayang, Gombak, Cyberjaya, Rawang, Sepang and Serdang)
Minimum Academic Requirement

  •  Obtained at least 5 credits, including Bahasa Inggeris and Mathematics, at the SPM level or O-Level

Field of Study and On-The-Job Training 
  • LCCI (London Chamber of Commerce and Industry) Diploma in Accounting
  • On the Job Training at the Sime Darby Global Services Centre (GSC), Kuala Lumpur
Value of Educational Assistance
  • The scholarship will cover tuition fees, living allowances, accommodation allowances and book allowances.
  • Selected individuals will be given the opportunity to pursue a LCCI (London Chamber of Commerce and Industry) Diploma in Accounting on a part-time basis while undergoing on-the-job and industry training with Sime Darby Global Services Centre (GSC) for a period of one year.

  • Stamford College, Petaling Jaya (Students' admission to the assigned college will be arranged by YSD)
